♣♣♣♣♣ Probably one of the best professors I had here at UCSB! The honors section was a lot of fun—he is so informative about what we were reading and just issues on the environment as well. Loved this, class definitely going to miss it. It opened my eyes to the changing world around me and now I am obsessed with the environment. Overall an amazing class and professor.

♣♣♣♣♣ Maybe could have used a little bit more structure. Ken is literally amazing. So passionate. He knows so many things, is so educated, so well-read. He knows so many famous people, always dropping names but it isn’t annoying. Definitely would recommend, although I don’t know how grading works so I can’t say if it’s easy. Good if you want to get woke.

♣♣♣♣♣ I feel privileged to have had a smaller classroom experience.

♣♣♣♣♣ Great explanations, sometimes repetitive. Very passionate about his subjects and class.

♣♣♣♣ Very interesting course and take on how literature functions in an environmental manner.
