However, unlike <em>First Reformed<\/em>, which is a work of fiction, <em>Cooked<\/em> is a documentary about a real event: a heatwave in Chicago where over 700 people died (as well as other disasters, especially those happening slowly, over many years). Hence, it can be pretty graphic at times. If you find this film troubling, that is absolutely fine.
