Lectures<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lectures will be shown from 11:00am -12:15pm on Tuesday & Thursday in Campbell Hall. Lectures start promptly at 11:00am and run for the entire period. Attendance will be taken via iClicker.<\/p>\n

Film<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please watch\u00a0either<\/em>\u00a0the documentary\u00a0The True Cost<\/em>\u00a0or \u201cThe Ugly Truth Of Fast Fashion\u201d (from\u00a0Patriot Act<\/em>\u00a0with Hasan Minhaj) according to these guidelines:<\/p>\n

1) If you have not seen\u00a0The True Cost<\/em>, please watch it. It is available for viewing on GauchoSpace (GauchoCast). If you are not enrolled in the class, it can be rented for a relatively modest fee from YouTube, Amazon, Google, etc.<\/p>\n

2) If you have already seen\u00a0The True Cost<\/em>, please instead watch\u00a0The Ugly Truth Of Fast Fashion on YouTube<\/a>.<\/p>\n

3) Since we will be considering them each in class, feel free to watch both films.<\/p>\n

After watching one of the above films, please watch and then comment on the below short lecture by Intro, The True Cost.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n

Note that, while you can watch this video on this page, you need to go to YouTube to comment in the YouTube comment section.<\/p>\n

Also note that while Ken\u2019s introduction covers both of the above films, you only need to comment on the film that you watched. However, if you have already watched\u00a0The True Cost<\/em>, please feel free to reference it in your comment.<\/p>\n
