♣♣♣♣♣ This has been the most rewarding and engaging section in my academic life here at UCSB. I came in undeclared with a very Western perception of the world, especially the environment. I’m leaving this section with an expanded perspective, one that’s really mobilized me towards action and also as an English Major! I’m so grateful for how knowledgeable Professor Hiltner is and how he has been able to communicate himself t us as well as how he’s been able to unpack very heavy and complex topics.

Ken Hiltner not only does a great job explaining the material he teaches one on one, but is also extremely knowledgeable on the topic of climate change in its entirety.
